I think that Blink is possibly the best Who episode ever made, even though ironically neither the Doctor nor his then assistant (Martha) features very prominently in it. The writing is fantastic though and the Weeping Angels truly creepy. What are other people's favourites?

I like "The Library". I find it very poignant on many levels.

Yes. It's the first time we see River and yet the last time that she sees The Doctor .. although neither of them know it at the moment that she walks into the library. It's strange and sad to think that they whole of their relationship was conducted thereafter with the Doctor knowing exactly when and how she was going to die - and yet he never told her. Spoilers, I guess.

Put me down as another fan of 'Blink'. I would not recommend people watching it if they are not familiar with the characters already though as it is in the middle of the series and you do not see very much of the doctor or his Companion in it.

"An UnEarthly Child" for one simple reason.. without it, there would have been no Doctor Who.
"The Daleks" as it showed that a format of History /SF alternation could work. (of course there were the H.G.Wells, and Dan Dare connection with this story.

I have never been able to see much of old Who, but suggestions for especially good episodes throughout new Who might be
Eccleston: Father's Day The Empty Child + The Doctor Dances
Tennant: The Girl in the Fireplace Blink The Planet of the Ood The Silence in the Library Turn Left
Smith: Vincent and the Doctor The Pandorica Opens The Doctor's Wife A Good Man Goes to War + Let's Kill Hitler The Girl Who Waited God Complex Asylum of the Daleks The Angels Take Manhattan The Snowmen
But it seems every time I randomly see also any other episode I like it.

Vincent and the Doctor was another awesome one yeah. Some of Smith's stuff was a bit patchy but the good episodes really were great.
