Hmm, despite the fact that at this stage there was only mild flirtation between the DOctor and Rose, that really is, as Rose's mum said, 'quite an age difference'. I realise - spoilers - that they managed to sort of get around that in the end with the alternate Doctor and the alternate Universe but I was still not entirely convinced.
