The Narnia special

I have not seen this one for a while but I really did enjoy it. Was it the first one that Matt Smith did? Can't remember and perhaps not but it was a good one anyway. The essential plot was not very strong - I never quite grasped, despite several rewatchings, just what the tree people were - but I loved the 'magic' of the set pieces and props. Very much what I imagined that going into Narnia would be like I guess . I liked also the idea of the Doctor bringing a bit of happiness to a grieving or soon to be grieving family.
