I've been systematically plowing though the series from 2005, and I came across an episode I'm pretty sure I've never seen: Season 2 "Love and Monsters". It wasn't very good, so maybe I did see it, but just blanked it out...

I'd go as far as awful!

I'd not go quite that far but I really can't see what the point of it was. The storyline was not strong and none of the characters were particularly memorable or even likeable.

I think it had elements, but essentially no plot or surprises. The bulk of it was just waiting for the inevitable, obvious end.

It was on the depressing side with no redeeming elements, I thought.

As one website put it "Don't get a kid to design your monsters as part of a competition" That said, there was a fundamental mess up on the scale. The kid had intended to monster to be about the size of a double-decker bus, not Peter Kay!
