I've nothing against the actor but for some reason he didn't get many really good episodes and I think that some people found the forty five minute format - which ironically enough seems to work very well with New Who - difficult to get used to. I also found his Doctor just too .. rude, abrasive, after the gentleness of Davidson and the quirky humour of Tom Baker. Interesting choice of suit though  |

Yes, if I had to vote for the weakest, he'd be my choice, too.

I would actually prefer to watch him than Hartnell, even tho Hartnell is the original. But I still don't think that the Doctor's character really started to emerge until Troughton. But I wonder if it wouldn't be better, rather than dividing into 'Old Who' and 'New Who' with Ecclestone as the divide line, to have three separate 'divisions' of Doctor.
