I am a bit torn over Clara. I liked the first Clara, the one who died in the Christmas episode, very much better than I am liking the 'real' one. She seems, as so many of the doctor's female assistants, to be a bit of a drip you know? Instantly falling in love with him and following him around like a little puppy dog. Interesting to see what her relationship with the new Doctor will be like.

I really don't like Clara. I guess the lovey-dovey stuff right after River put me off.

I kind of think it would have been more consistent if she died in every episode and the new ones never really remembered him.

I didn't get on with that thing of her cropping up all over his time-line like that. Even when it was "resolved" I didn't like it!

I agree with you completely, Moose. I was so excited to see Oswin as a companion, but then was so disappointed when we actually got her.

Hello ! Nice to finally find a Who board. I like her. She's the prettiest one since Pond who IMO is the prettiest. Rose who was second has now fallen to third. Although I am picking nits. They are all strikingly beautiful.
Now as far as character, I think it's too soon to tell if I like Clara or not. Let's see what the dynamic between her and this new curmudgeonly version turns out to be. I don't see how the love struck teenage girl thing is going to play with this old mean dark doctor.

I agree with that Clara has had a bit of a wonky start with that whole thing of her existing all over time, but it will certainly be interesting to see where it all goes from here.

Still not all that taken. She's just too ... perfect. Nothing to her. With Amy at least there was the dynamic of her relationship with both the Doctor AND Rory
