Were the original Cyberman from the now long broken off timeline?
An interesting story would be how Susan tried to prevent the rise of the Robo/Cybermen?

I did not think that there was any link between the two but you are the expert in the old stuff not me . I loved one of the new episode in which the Daleks and Cybermen ended up fighting and the Daleks totally pwned them. Pest control indeed

It is purely my own 'cannon' so to speak.. but hey.. I AM the Heretic afterall.
Somehow, the extension of the robomen somehow landing on the Tenth Planet in the past, and no longer with Dalek control simply taking over and creating their own agenda. Could even be why the Daleks have an 'animosity' towards them. If their own creations gained 'freedom' and even grew in numbers, they'd be a tad miffed, don't you think?
Nice linkage though... Human --> Gallifreyan---> War Gamers --->Daleks --->Cybermen.
Another interesting thought.. would the pre-Davros Daleks even consider joining with the original Cybermen to wipe out the newcomers to the game? Or.. would the original Cybermen eventually join up with the alternate reality cybermen?

Actually.. in my mega-heresy.... Consider...
There is the potential of two somewhat different types of Cybermen coming together. The very definition of a TARDIS construction necessitates a means of large scale quick production... The implication is that the Daleks already posses such technology themselves..
Now.. the potential for crossed realities exist.. now let6's see.. what crossed reality line would NOT be at odds with the Whovian Univer(s)... what we need is something that had a technology capable of self-repair and even replication if necessary.. also a very advanced compact computer system to control it. Hey.. i can think of one... and it also had a race which was a group mind which invented it.
So.. you get that cross over.. and voila... you have... The Borg. ( who knows.. maybe The Great Intelligence thrown into the mix as well).
And.. although of on an outside track.. another famous British TV series had an alien race which was a group mind.. the 'enemy' being basically 'drones' constructed of additional 'components'.
So.. now.. any takers on guessing the two 'cross over realities' I've mentioned.. A clue.. the first is BBC... the second is ATV
